How long does it take to set up a new account?

During business hours, new accounts are usually set up within a few minutes of order submission. After business hours, setup may take a few hours.


How long have you been in business?

Kionic Inc. has been in business since 2000 (Started in 2000 under the name OC12Host.net).



Do you host International domain names?

Yes, we are pleased to have customers around the world. We can host all non-US domain name extensions.



Can I access my domain name with and without the www?

Yes, you will be able to access your domain with or without the "www." For example, you can access your domain name by going to "www.yourdomain.com" or "yourdomain.com".



Do you maintain backups of my data?

Kionic provides automated daily and weekly full backups on all servers.



Can I password protect directories?

Yes, you can password protect specific directories within your website. You can assign unique usernames and passwords to each directory to control access.



Can I upgrade or downgrade my account at a later date?

Yes, certainly. The charge for upgrading is merely the difference in hosting fees between the old account type and the new account type. You are issued a pro-rated refund for unused time under the old account type, and billed for a new period at the new rate. There is no fee for upgrading or downgrading.



Do you allow adult sites?

Kionic does not allow adult sites on its servers.



How long does it take to transfer a domain?

Once the transfer has been submitted, it can take anywhere from 4 to 24 hours. Usually this is much closer to 4 hours. It usually depends on the time that your request is received at your registrar. Your domain is set up immediately on our servers. It is the timing at the registrar that will determine how long it takes for the transfer to be "visible."



What is your spam and bulk e-mail policy?

We have strict policies against spamming and bulk e-mail. Users who spam via e-mail, newsgroups, etc. are not allowed on our Web servers. If we receive complaints of spamming and bulk e-mail, we will remove you from our network.



Do you offer a money back guarantee?

Will you place any ads on my site?

Not at all. Kionic does not place any advertisement on your site whatsoever. No banners, no annoying pop-ups, nothing.

How do I update my billing information?

Kionic users can view or change their account information easily and immediately at any time through our secure billing interface at https://kionic.com/billing/



I'm currently with another host, can you help me transfer my site?

Absolutely. We can help you move your website files to your new account with Kionic. When you sign up, simply contact us and we'll make all the arrangements.
